Chartered accountant combinations: what I look for
For chartered accountancy, I would start with the distinction between the field and the nature of the work. The 10th house reveals the profession, the 6th reveals the nature of the work and the 11th the way money is earned and the scale of the work. The finance connection is therefore the beginning of the reading.
Consider an illustrative accountancy role in which a person prepares financial information for clients and works on taxation. The accountancy part directs attention to the 6th house, taxation to the 8th and finance to the 2nd. I would look for those links through the rulers of the 6th, 10th and 11th houses, then study the planets, signs and Nakshatras involved.
Mercury's advisory theme and Saturn's risk-management theme help describe different responsibilities in that example. A person advising a business and a person concentrating on taxation can both work in accountancy, but the nature of their daily work is different. That is why I examine the 6th house alongside the 10th.
To complete the reading, I would follow the career-house rulers into the D9 and D10, study the rulers of the signs they occupy and return to those planets in the main chart. Accountancy and taxation
If the 6th, 10th or 11th house is linked to the second house, this strongly indicates a career in finance.
The sixth relates to services such as accountancy or banking, and the eighth to insurance and taxation.
Planets linked to finance
Amongst planets Venus is a natural significator of money and therefore it's directly linked to the finance sector. If Mercury is involved with the 6th, 10th and 11th house the person can be more on the financial advisory side, more business side. If Mars is there the person's work can be all about solving complex problems such as being a financial analyst. If Saturn is involved the person's work can be centred around themes of risk management or long-term investment strategies.
Nakshatras and signs
