Hasta Nakshatra
Hasta is one of the most auspicious sections of the sky, and you'll find that out very soon. As per mythology, it's ruled by Lord Savita, and this nakshatra falls entirely in the sign of Virgo. Lord Savita is known to have his arms wide open for anyone who seeks his blessings. That is how he's characterised.
The Gayatri Mantra, considered the most sacred mantra, is dedicated to Lord Savita. In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna says that among mantras he represents the Gayatri Mantra, illustrating its divinity. The mantra is:
Om Bhur Bhuvah Swaha Tatsavitur Varenyam Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi Dhiyo Yo Nah Prachodayat
The word Savita refers to Lord Savita, ruler of this section of the sky. One translation is, ‘May we attain the excellent glory of Lord Savita so he may stimulate our prayers.’ Another is, ‘We choose the supreme light of the divine Sun. We aspire that it may impel our minds.’ The stimulation or impelling of the mind describes both Lord Savita and Hasta. He can purify the mind and intellect so that we think more logically, clearly and at an elevated level.
Rahu in Hasta
The future
Rahu in Hasta can create an unconventional businessperson because Rahu breaks social convention while Hasta belongs to the merchant caste. Under the Moon's rulership, the person may also be an unconventional healer, particularly when Rahu is linked to career houses. Rahu's intelligence and cleverness can make the native a shrewd businessperson or salesperson.
Major downside is that you may start running your business solely for the purpose of profits, for money. The Rajasic side can be uncontrolled in this position. The native may also delude oneself into thinking I am running this business ethically, but the truth of the matter could be that the business was mainly run for commercial reasons. The native not only might delude others, but may also delude oneself, and that's something the native would need to overcome.
Despite the shrewdness and the cleverness, this position can lead to the native having innovative, creative business ideas that can inspire people. This position can lead to business with foreigners or having a business linked to exports and imports. Despite the cleverness, this position can lead to the native making business decisions impulsively, and that is one of the downsides to this position. Altogether, the native would need guidance in life.
The native may hold on to an incorrect business or life philosophy and later realise that their purpose or vision was wrong. In my view, proper guidance is especially important during Rahu dasha.
