Kind, and looking after people

Punarvasu Nakshatra

Punarvasu falls in the signs of Gemini and Cancer and, as per mythology, is ruled by Goddess Aditi. She is the mother of all the gods known to reside in the heavens. That is why this Nakshatra is the most maternal section of the sky.

Goddess Aditi provides food, shelter and protection. Healthcare, hospitality, housing and industries that protect society are therefore directly linked to Punarvasu. I would also add public transport: while travelling by bus, train or aeroplane, we can feel the comfort of home.

Airlines brand themselves as offering a home in the sky, with the same peace as your own living room. Trains convey a similar message. Many overnight trains offer a comfortable and cosy cabin for travelling from one part of the world to another. Public transport is directly linked to Punarvasu. The Indian Railways' slogan is “Lifeline of the Nation”.

Moon in Punarvasu

Emotional construct

When the Moon is in Punarvasu, the person is naturally likely to be kind, sensitive, nurturing, caring and protective of those around them. Any profession that requires looking after others may suit the person, particularly if the Moon is linked to a career-related house. Moon–Punarvasu is like a kind queen travelling through her kingdom to help people by offering food, shelter and land. The Moon is linked to royalty, so people may look up to you for help and guidance.

Why guidance? We must not forget this Nakshatra's planetary ruler is Jupiter. This is an excellent combination to build your career as a counsellor, particularly if the sign is Gemini. Moon is also at times linked to businesses, and this Nakshatra is linked to businesses, and therefore running a business is not a bad idea.

You may understand what it takes to run a business and the ethics involved. One business may have a fair-price policy and invite customers to report anything overpriced; another may offer a full refund to dissatisfied customers. Such businesses and practices are, in my view, linked to Moon–Punarvasu.

The person may take great interest in conserving natural resources and protecting society. Lastly, the person is likely to have a forgiving and self-sacrificing nature.

Altogether, this is a very strong position, in my view.

Thank you for your time.
