Albert Einstein's Birth Chart Analysis

Introduction

I'm going to go through the birth chart of Albert Einstein. In the process, we are going to learn some important lessons.

Ardra rising and exploration

Let's start from his rising Nakshatra, and that's Ardra. I think his eccentric personality and physical appearance are due to this Ardra rising.

An Ardra-rising native can have an unkempt physical appearance and can be some sort of an explorer.

Mercury, Saturn and patient problem-solving

Mercury and Saturn in his chart, in Uttara Bhadrapada, are in conjunction, which in this chart is a sign that he's a patient problem-solver.

In one of the quotations commonly credited to him, it is said that he described himself as a patient problem-solver and not a genius, and I believe that's a lot to do with Mercury and Saturn.

If you do happen to find this combination, I think no problem is going to be too difficult for you, because you'll find a way.

Jupiter, lifelong study and Dhanishtha fame

The 10th-house ruler in the main chart and the Navamsha falls in the 9th house. This is a pattern, and the ruler is Jupiter, which signifies he was meant to be a lifelong student in my reading.

Secondly, this 9th-house association is important: the 9th house is the 12th house from the 10th house. He was meant to have his career built on a permanent basis in a place foreign, in this astrological reading, which has been his story.

He moved away, and we'll come to those relocation timelines, where Jupiter in the 9th in Dhanishtha is a sign of massive fame. I've always mentioned that a Dhanishtha native can attract fame, and when Jupiter is there, fame can be massive.

Purva Bhadrapada and research

Now what exactly was he meant to be famous for? This brings me to the constellation of Purva Bhadrapada. Why am I referring to this constellation? Sun in his chart is in the 10th house in Purva Bhadrapada.

Aja Ekapada was all about bringing a change in society. A fist in the air: we can do this, we can transform the world.

In this astrological reading, if you have to bring some sort of a change in society, it has to be born out of the 8th house. What do I find here? The 9th-house ruler is Saturn. Rahu is in the 8th house, and the 8th-house ruler is again Saturn, which goes into the 10th house.

What I find beautiful in his chart is the connection the 8th, 9th and 10th houses have. Or should I say the 8th and 9th houses? The 8th is linked to future research, the 9th to a future driven by higher education and the 10th house to career. That connection is an explanation, in my view, behind his scientific endeavours.

Ambition, imagination and large-scale research

Furthermore, he has Moon in the constellation of Jyeshtha in the 6th house, which is symbolising in this reading his desire to be the best in his line of work and that he can be behind scientific inventions of some kind.

Since Moon doesn't have anyone as company, that's a sign in this reading that the individual can find the necessary motivation to go after one's goals.

Venus in the 10th house in Revati is exalted, which is a sign in this chart that he can have a very inventive way of doing things and can be blessed with natural imaginative ability, something others may not have thought about. He may have the capability to imagine future possibilities somehow.

Now Mars, ruling the money house and placed in the 8th house, is an indication that his research would be on a large scale and perhaps have global consequences, which I believe was the case.

Education and relocation, 1894–1896

So let's go through some important life events he's gone through and map them through the Dasha table. This might help you understand how to read the Dasha table.

In 1895 he was in the process of moving into Venus's Mahadasha from Ketu, and at that time, in the source's reading, a life-changing education and relocation event took place.

After leaving Munich and joining his family in Italy in 1894, Einstein took the Zurich Polytechnic entrance examination in 1895, studied in Aarau in 1895-96 and entered the Polytechnic in Zurich in 1896.

The 1905 miracle year

Then 1905 is classified as a miracle year for him, as he came up with all kinds of equations and changed how physics was pursued thereafter. In 1905—later called his annus mirabilis—Einstein published landmark papers including special relativity and mass-energy equivalence.

At that time he was going through Venus and Rahu's chapter. Now anyone wanting to change the future has to be linked to Rahu, in my view. Rahu is all about imagining a future in a different manner, and Rahu in his chart is in the 8th house. I've already mentioned that Rahu is also linked to the 9th house, the house of higher education. Secondly, Rahu in his chart has a direct relationship with Mars.

So his career is directly linked to Rahu in many ways, and Rahu is behind scientific inventions of some kind, in my view. At that time the Mahadasha was of Venus. Venus in an exalted position, Rahu being the Antardasha and the positions it occupies in his chart in Uttara Ashadha justify why I see this as a miracle year for him.

Marriage, divorce and a new beginning

Right, so early in 1903 he was married, and that was right at the beginning of this Venus and Rahu chapter. More precisely, he married Mileva Marić in January. I've always maintained that if a person is about to enter Venus and Rahu's time phase, there's every possibility of the individual experiencing companionship.

But I also find Ketu in the marriage house in the Navamsha, which is a strong indicator that early marriage could lead to complications. In my view, the main chart also signifies that his work might come in the way of his marriage.

It happened during Saturn's Antardasha in 1919. On 14 February 1919, his divorce from Mileva became final, and he married Elsa Löwenthal later that year. Under Ketu's chapter or Saturn's chapter, he was meant to go through some difficulty in marriage. In my reading, it happened under Saturn, and he decided to marry again.

If Jupiter is somehow linked to the marriage house, I think there's every possibility of the person being able to start life again and marry again.

The 1921 Nobel Prize and money

Now, 1921 was the Nobel Prize year. Einstein received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics in 1922, principally for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect. The source connects this period generally with Venus.

Venus can bring fame, and that too on a material plane. His Nobel Prize was also accompanied by a substantial monetary award. In the source's astrological reading, Venus brought him that good fortune.

If you look at the money house in both charts, the main and the Navamsha, in the main it's ruled by Mars and Mars is in the 8th house. In the Navamsha it's ruled by Saturn, which again falls in the 8th house. In my view, that's the sign his fortunes from a money point of view were going to fluctuate.

So he did win this big prize money, but when he divorced his first wife, the agreement had provided for the eventual Nobel capital to be made available for Mileva and their sons. So his chart isn't suggesting he was going to be a wealthy individual. He was going to get worldwide recognition, as Jupiter is in Dhanishtha, and that he did.

Exile and the 1933 US move

In January 1933 Hitler came to power while Einstein was already in the United States. Einstein returned to Europe but refused to return to Germany.

In the source's astrological account, that was the time he was going through Rahu's chapter, and I've time and again mentioned that Rahu's chapter can lead to relocation. Jupiter in his chart, ruling the 10th, is in the 12th house from the 10th house, in the 9th house. That is a strong indication in this reading that he was meant to build his life in a place foreign. So during Rahu, circumstances were created for him to move elsewhere.

So he first moved to Belgium, then England, and finally in October 1933 he moved to the US. That's where he stayed for a very long time, all the way until the end of his life. He joined the Institute for Advanced Study and remained affiliated with it until his death in Princeton on 18 April 1955. After Mars's chapter, the video says he entered Rahu's Mahadasha and left the world in 1955, right at the end of this Rahu Mahadasha.

E = mc² and a spiritual metaphor

I'd like to take you back to his miracle year, 1905, when he developed the formula E = mc², expressing mass-energy equivalence. It got me thinking that there is this massive energy frozen within us. It's sleeping within us, howsoever you want to imagine it.

What follows is my personal spiritual metaphor, not a scientific conclusion or authenticated scripture. And if you look at this equation from a spiritual point of view, if you now were to call energy as God and mass as us and c square—the speed of light square—as awakening, so if you look at this from a spiritual point of view, I know I'm saying something not linked to astrology, but I wanted to share that with you.

In my paraphrase, if you go as per Bhagavad Gita, it says that this formless form of God resides within us, so maybe that's the creative energy that resides within us. If you go as per Christianity, it's mentioned the kingdom of God was within us. I've made the reference that if you go as per Sikhism, which says that God is within the soul and soul is within God. So again, it's a case of this creative energy, God, being within you.

For Islam, I referred to the saying “what you seek is within you,” so again it's referring to that infinite energy stored within us which we are classifying as God. This is not a verified Islamic quotation. For Judaism, I referred to the divine soul as part of God, and for Buddhism, to the idea that there is Buddha in every one of us. These are my paraphrases and personal reflections, not authenticated quotations from scripture.

So basically, in my reflection, all these spiritual philosophies are referring to that one energy which resides within us. That is a personal spiritual parallel; E = mc² does not scientifically prove God or religious equivalence.

The equation is not going to change even if the same mass was taken elsewhere in the world. The same mass in Japan, the same mass in Canada, Egypt, India or elsewhere is going to result in the same energy. That's the point I'm trying to make. In any case, I hope this discussion on Albert Einstein's birth chart made sense.
