Uttara Phalguni Nakshatra: meaning, characteristics and careers

Uttara Phalguni is the twelfth Nakshatra, occupying 26 degrees 40 minutes of Leo to 10 degrees of Virgo. It is ruled by Sun. Here's what it means for you.

Lord Aryaman and Uttara Phalguni

He’s the keeper of our contractual obligations. Lord Aryaman witnesses the vows exchanged during a marriage ceremony, the seven circles taken around the Aryaman fire during an Indian wedding, and the contracts signed with other parties. More importantly, he holds us accountable to our word, promise, commitment and obligations. “Do as you say you would do” is the motto of this nakshatra. Lord Varuna, the ruler of Shatabhisha, has a similar function of holding us accountable, but he also demands retribution from sinners. All contracts, agreements, partnerships, mergers, friendships, and familial relationships are linked to this nakshatra and so are the duties and responsibilities that ensue. Lord Aryaman is known to bestow the fortune of progeny to the newlywed couple. Sun is the ruler of this nakshatra. The native would be excellent at bringing people together, would be trustworthy, noble, honorable, would be working in a leadership role, would abide by and uphold societal norms, traditions, and the law. Human-resources managers, supply-chain managers, business-partnership developers, venture capitalists, lawyers, negotiators, matchmakers, real-estate brokers and entrepreneurs are seen from this Nakshatra. This nakshatra is also about fun and games and so celebrations and festivities would be part and parcel of one’s life.
