Punarvasu Nakshatra
Punarvasu falls in the signs of Gemini and Cancer and, as per mythology, is ruled by Goddess Aditi. She is the mother of all the gods known to reside in the heavens. That is why this Nakshatra is the most maternal section of the sky.
Goddess Aditi provides food, shelter and protection. Healthcare, hospitality, housing and industries that protect society are therefore directly linked to Punarvasu. I would also add public transport: while travelling by bus, train or aeroplane, we can feel the comfort of home.
Airlines brand themselves as offering a home in the sky, with the same peace as your own living room. Trains convey a similar message. Many overnight trains offer a comfortable and cosy cabin for travelling from one part of the world to another. Public transport is directly linked to Punarvasu. The Indian Railways' slogan is “Lifeline of the Nation”.
Saturn in Punarvasu
Hard work and service
When Saturn is in Punarvasu, I see Punarvasu's protection operating within rules and boundaries. An elder-care home is a good example: care is provided, but within boundaries.
There is a time for lunch, a time to go out and a time for visitors.
The person can take on a big fight as a social worker or activist confronting a major issue. Saturn signifies long-term effort and persistence towards one goal.
Punarvasu also has a maternal side. I do not think Saturn–Punarvasu is likely to operate on a small scale; the person may want to protect society as a whole. Saturn is also known to bestow unparalleled technical skills.
The person can therefore be a surgeon and can be very surgical in offering help. The person is likely to be detail-oriented, so no detail is missed.
If you've sought someone's help who's Saturn Punarvasu, the person would make sure that the help is provided. There are no details which were skipped. And every assistance was provided responsibly. I've been watching this program called Escape to the Country, where they offer you houses in the countryside.
I remember one lady had an excel sheet of different parameters on which she'd like to evaluate the property on. That's a very Saturn Punarvasu-like thing to have happened. Saturn is all about doing things very methodically. Punarvasu is directly linked to the housing sector.
That is another great example. The person can be knowledgeable about ancient medicine practices. A Saturn–Punarvasu person can also be a policymaker who protects society in some way.
Bureaucrats, even politicians, can be seen having Saturn Punarvasu. Saturn is not known to have an identity as strong as Sun. Therefore, I think it does really well in Punarvasu, as Punarvasu is all about making a sacrifice. Here, the only downside is the person can go to the extreme making a sacrifice.
Sacrificing one's own comfort for the comfort of others is a very Saturn Punarvasu-like thing. If there is going to be travel, then travel opportunities would be in the form of relocation. That you join a new company in this new country for the next three years and you stay there. Saturn is a service provider.
Therefore, the person can be in the business of providing a service in the industries directly linked to Punarvasu, which I'd listed down for you earlier. That's my view.
Thank you for your time.
