Mercury and Moon together

Can you be naturally good at understanding people? You do not necessarily have to be a psychologist. It may simply be that you understand how people react emotionally to circumstances.

If Mercury falls in Cancer, whether in Punarvasu, Pushya or Ashlesha, you are likely to have an understanding of psychology in this method, particularly when Mercury is in Ashlesha.

I would also look at Mercury in the Moon-ruled Nakshatras of Hasta and Shravana.

Moon placements to look for

If the Moon has a relationship with Mercury, you may again have this natural gift. The Moon in Virgo, particularly in Hasta, is one combination I would look for. The Moon in Shravana can make the person a patient listener.

Ashlesha and human psychology

Lastly, I give Ashlesha special importance here. In my view, if the Moon is in Ashlesha, or even if other planets have a strong placement in Ashlesha, the person can have a natural understanding of human psychology.
