7th house is related to marriage, spouse, relationships outside of the family, business partnerships, the kind of people we attract, fame, and popularity.
Whereas the 12th house is related to things done in isolation, spirituality, imagination, sub-conscious mind. It is also related to money spent/expenses, and things which are foreign to you such as living in a foreign land, dealing with foreigners, or working for a foreign company.
In general, if you have the 7th house lord in the 12th house the spouse would be of foreign origin or would be from a different cultural background. The chances of you settling in a foreign land after marriage are very high. The spouse would be spiritual, philosophical, creative, imaginative, and would be working in a place far away from the mad rush of the world such as a hospital, an airport, a research lab, a religious center, or something similar.
